In our High Voltage Corona Resistant Cable, PTFE
insulation contains a unique additive, which forms
a protective film when exposed to corona. The film
produced covers the walls of the cavities and absorbs
the ion impacts protecting the insulation and minimizing
penetration. In additional measure of reliability,
Corona Resistant PTFE High Voltage cables can be
used from cryogenic temperatures through a high
temperature of 250 deg. C for short periods of time.
CRPTFE insulation gives designers a high voltage
cable with all the merits of standard PTFE including:
• Chemical Inertness
• Thermal stability
• Non-flammability
• Outstanding retention of physical properties over
a wide range of temperatures.
• High resistance to electromechanical stress cracking.
• 10,000 hours minimum life.
• Drastically reduced size.
